Our firm is devoted to bringing justice and peace to individuals and small businesses. After more than a decade as a California CPA and big-firm trial lawyer,  Bret Beattie, (Bret) moved to Texas. He pursued a unique opportunity where he devoted several years working on the massively complex investigation and litigation surrounding the collapse of the Enron Corporation.  The investigation uncovered complex securities fraud and sophisticated financial scams which provided a blue print for wrongdoing by giant law firms, accounting giant Arthur Andersen and Enron insiders.  Bret's team conducted a massive and sophisticated legal offensive that shaped the outcome of the reorganization of a fallen giant. Since then, Bret began his own practice in Texas and later in Colorado. 

In 2008, Bret founded The Bret Beattie Law Firm, LLC in Colorado and began full-time practice in Centennial, Colorado.   In 2010, the firm opened a second location in the GlenEagle area of Colorado Springs to bring superior legal services to serve El Paso County. 

The firm's practice covers two distinct areas: bankruptcy (ch.7 & 13); and civil litigation ranging from business fraud cases to wrongful death, personal injury (including medical malpractice) and construction defect cases.
